i have the old style track that the lamp just attach to the track, and can be moved back and forth, the plain style ones. I was hoping to take of those lamps and replace with a more up to date styled lamps. any ideas..

I need something that isn't directional (like a spotlight), but rather more like a regular light fixture that spreads light in all directions. And I want it to be low-profile, so it doesn't extend very far below the ceiling. If this exists, please direct me to a website with an example. I won't choose yours as best answer unless you give me a link.

Wondering what would look right in a galley kitchen. I know recessed will work, but thought it could be nice to do a combination of recessed lighting and pendants. Is that a bad thing for a galley kitchen with standard heigh ceilings? I don't want to do track lighting.

I have a vaulted ceiling in my kitchen and it is hard to reach the bulbs to change, so I want to put pendant light on the existing track so I can reach a little easier, and give it a new look

i wanna know if you an change the light on a track light stripe, not the whole track light just the little pendants, like if you like finish of a track light stripe but not the little lights.

Therefore I want to replace the fixture with something that I can reach, I dont know if I should use a pendant lighting, or another track lighting. Please help me!!
